Tis the season for giving!

I’d like to extend holiday greetings to all of our users and followers. In the more carefree days Before Virus, we’d have thrown a party and invited you all, and some of you would have travelled a distance to be here! Desperate for Good News, let’s hang onto the thought that not travelling much is helping to reduce global warming…

So here’s hoping you all have a wonderful holiday season, that you can celebrate it in style with family and friends, and that 2022 turns out to be a great year for you and your family.

Three thoughts to get you into the right spirit of giving:

1) We’ve published two posts filled with Microsoft Teams Tips to help boost your productivity, and, when you casually introduce a really neat feature into the next Teams meeting, astonish your teammates with your newly acquired skills.

2) I’d like to introduce you all to a friend whose generosity of spirit and his care of those less fortunate are inspirational. Joe Racine is his name, and he, and the homeless people and veterans he helps, need your help.

3) KTi will donate 10% of every Kippa sale over the next month, to Joe’s worthy causes.

Some details:

Microsoft Teams users, did you know that when you’ve been discussing various options in a Teams meeting, and now need a decision, you can quickly create a poll (question and alternate answer checkboxes), publish it in the chat, and take an instant vote?

Or, as a second easily added Teams skill, did you know that Teams has a great whiteboard that you can launch in seconds, into any meeting? We’ll also show you how to present your next PowerPoint deck like a real pro: just the content without all the chrome! All this and 9 more great tips on Kippa’s blog.

#JoeRacine can be found on LinkedIn here.

Joe’s Haircut and Dinner for the Homeless, the site where you can donate some cash is here

As you’ll see when you look at the page, Joe has managed to raise almost $11,000 and that means about 5,000 hungry and desperate people will have a reason to feel good in these difficult times.

From safe in your home, warm, fed and dry, the idea of a free haircut and a meal may be unimportant. But imagine what it means, living on the street, with no hope for the future, wondering how to make it through another night. And then this brave soul appears, and yes it takes considerable courage to venture into the sketchy parts of town at night, and the next thing you know, you’re getting a wash, shave and haircut, and a meal that you don’t have to eat off the street.

True luxury, even if it’s only for a few hours. But more importantly, a little hope in your heart as you realize that there really are some wonderful people who make life less bleak simply because they exist. So please, help yourself feel good! Give, even if it’s just $10.

Take care and stay safe!
